Kit
Sell the first product from the email you send.
Broadcasts, automations, and a checkout for a download or a paid newsletter. The tool formerly called ConvertKit.
Free plan to start. A fee applies when you sell.
Some links are affiliate links; I may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
What you get
- The email is the product Writing and sending is the main screen, not a side tab.
- A launch sequence Tag who bought or clicked, then send the next note.
- Checkout on the list Sell a file or a paid newsletter without a second tool.
- You can see the buyer The sale stays attached to the subscriber.
How a first sale goes
- Start the list on the free plan.
- Write the email that offers the file.
- Let the buyer pay from that same account.
The limits, in their words
Kit can sell a digital product on every plan, including free. Selling in US dollars costs about 3.5% + 30¢ per order, card processing included.
The plan that feels finished is paid, and the price scales with subscribers. That is awkward before you have sales.
This is not a course school. A “course” here is a file or a link you fulfill yourself. Landing pages stay simple.
Who should skip it
Best for a guide, a template pack, or a workshop you expect to sell by writing to a list.
Skip it if you need lesson modules and a student login, or if you only want a newsletter with a built-in growth network.
